cost?
No move is the same -we do have a set price list, but as each move is different we will discuss this on your consultation. We act with integrity and this is important to us (it is in our company policy!) so there will be no hidden costs.
What packing service do you offer?
We offer a 2-tier packing service tailored to your needs. These are explained in our packing section (click here). If required, we can supply boxes and materials in advance of the move day.
HOW FAR
WILL YOU MOVE?
We operate in the North West of England but we will consider moves if they are within a suitable distance. If your move is starting or ending in the North West from another UK location, we can provide our services.
COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES?
Yes, we have good knowledge of moving in the commercial world and hospitality sector. In fact, our very first move was a local Pub in South Manchester, we even got a free pint! Check out our commercial removals sector for more information.
We have the necessary insurance in place however as each move is different, we will discuss this on our initial consultation. We can provide insurance details upon request.
DO YOU MOVE APARTMENTS?
Yes, we understand the growing number of city centre apartments in the North West and have valuable experience in dealing with the factors to consider when moving in tight spaces.

We understand that this may be a worry however there are a number of solutions that we can discuss on your initial consultation. For example, a service that we offer is contacting your local council on your behalf.

There is no set time frame on when to book a move, however the average is usually 2-3 weeks prior to your move date. If you are a last-minute mover do not hesitate to contact us – if we are free, we promise to help you with your needs.
do you move pets?
Unfortunately, as much as we are all pet lovers at Soldiers On The Move, we do not allow pets to be transited during our moves due to our insurance policy.
CAN I HELP YOU MOVE?
Yes absolutely, we love creating a working relationship with our customers -unfortunately this will not enable a discount on your move price. Due to our insurance policies you cannot travel in our fleet of vehicles.
